Hotel "Laguna"

We were very happy with the hotel and its staff. We stayed for five nights at the end of August 2025 in a sea-view apartment, with breakfast and dinner included. The price for the quality was very good. The hotel was clean, and there’s air conditioning in both the rooms and restaurant. Reception and restaurant staff speak English. You can get a hair dryer from reception if you ask. There’s an elevator, though you have to carry your luggage to the room, and there are only five steps at the front entrance. The breakfast buffet was basic but fine; dinner was also OK, with a few especially good nights. We didn't use the pool or spa. Free hotel parking was a big plus, since finding a spot in central areas around town is very difficult. The Wi-Fi wasn't fast enough for business.

A very disappointing stay. The dining options were extremely limited, with only water to drink, the food was unseasoned and nowhere near four-star quality, and the steam cabin, an essential facility for a spa hotel, wasn't working. Our room had only a side view of the sea, despite what Booking advertised. It was missing basic things like a hairdryer, kettle, phone and Do Not Disturb hanger, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. There was no air conditioning in the corridors. Although the hotel has a lift, the main entrance wasn't accessible because we had to carry our luggage up stairs. My email questions before booking went unanswered, and the reception staff couldn't communicate in English when we arrived. The service didn't feel focused on guests. Avoid.

Breakfast was delicious. They offer English and continental options, and we tried one of each. The suite, or A-room, was spacious, new and clean, with two balconies and a fantastic water view. The location is handy, right in the middle of the village with lots of food options. The spa was new, clean and comfortable, though its steam room wasn't open during our trip. We really liked the indoor pool. The robes and slippers were comfortable and useful, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the furniture was comfortable throughout. The bathroom was nice, the smart TV was great, and both rooms had air conditioning. A great experience!

We were very satisfied with the hotel and thought the quality for the price was super. We visited in October, outside the season, and enjoyed the beautiful sea view, indoor pool and sauna. The fitness room had everything needed for a good workout. Breakfast was good, and lunch and dinner are also available at the hotel restaurant. With its indoor facilities, it’s a good choice for autumn or spring.
