The view from the second floor is great, and the hotel is an easy walk from the central square. Breakfast was good and the staff helped us out. Our rooms, though, were so small we could barely move around. The bathrooms seem to have been updated, but the rooms and beds are in rough shape and need updating too.

Detelin was a very welcoming and exceptionally friendly host at this family-run hotel. Try his Tetevenska rakia. The rooms are a little worn, but very clean and have what you need. Breakfast is basic, while lunch and dinner offer plenty of tasty choices at fair prices.

I loved the old-world feel here, especially the spacious rooms and big windows. The staff were exceptionally helpful, professional, and friendly. This was my favorite place to stay in Bulgaria.

The restaurant food was good. Rooms are small but comfortable, apart from the apartments, and there aren't any electrical outlets.

A nice place to stay, but bring a sandwich if you get hungry. Taking and delivering an order can be pretty slow.
