The attic room's terrace shares an open connection with the terrace of the next apartment. That leaves you choosing between unbearable heat with the doors shut or worrying that someone from next door could come in while you're asleep. There’s only one air conditioner, in the kitchenette, so all the bedrooms get unbearably hot. The place shown online is nothing like what we found. Their “maisonette” is really a one-room apartment with a converted attic reached by an unsecured wooden ladder. Someone elderly, injured, or afraid of heights may not be able to climb it. It’s like a ladder you’d use to get up a cherry tree. As for the “ground floor studio,” it’s dark and unfinished, surrounded by piles of rubbish and old things. You can’t stay in it without artificial light, and there are no proper beds.

The owners were really welcoming and cool, and the view is unique. Everything was clean, with new furniture throughout. There’s also a yard and barbecue 🍻, and the beach is just three minutes away.

For God’s sake, people, no.
