South Beach Hotel - All Inclusive

Momchil at reception made a real difference, always friendly, quick to help, and ready to sort out the room issues. The hotel is an easy walk from the beach, and the clean, well-kept pool was a nice place to relax. The food was decent, though nothing special. The rooms are old, so don't expect luxury, but the location, pool, and staff made for a mostly good stay.

South beach was a horrible experience. The air conditioner smelled of mould, the baby cot was broken and my daughter fell from it, and they couldn't provide another one. The fridge was dirty, there was only one socket in the room, and the bathroom had no shelves. We waited five days for a cleaner to change the sheets. There wasn't a proper high chair for kids either, just a bar stool with a useless belt.

The beds were awful and disgusting, and the rooms were dirty with a mouldy smell. The shower wouldn't close, so the whole bathroom got wet, and there was nowhere to put soap or shampoo. Room service showed up whenever they felt like it, the food seemed like leftovers from a nearby one-star restaurant 🤮, and the pools weren't maintained. This doesn't deserve more than one star. Don't trust the other reviews calling it a four-star place, you'll regret coming here.

Mrs Malcheva, the hotel manager, and Sofia, the F&B manager, are leading the new management very professionally. I hope she keeps up the good work, and I wish her and all the staff a great season ahead!
