Balneo & Spa Hotel The Palace

We stayed in the Junior Deluxe suite. It was nice, though the carpet had a faint cigarette smell, which seems common in Europe. The hotel itself is older but has a distinct luxurious charm. Service was swift and excellent, and both buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. The beach was perfect, with access available. The spa was pretty well kept, with a steam bath, sauna, indoor pool, cold plunge, and salt room. The massages were terrible, though. Unfortunately, the masseuses didn't seem to know what they were doing. I'd recommend the place highly, just skip the massages.

The beach was clean and beautiful, a perfect place to relax. Food was really good, and the friendly staff were attentive. The price felt very fair for what you get. The Gala evening was a special highlight, really well organized and memorable. Great hotel and service, would definitely recommend!

The cuisine is great, the view is perfect, and the spa area is very nice. I do wish phone use inside were restricted, though, since there were kids and teens making a lot of noise.

We stayed here for a week on an all-inclusive vacation with my wife, but I wasn't satisfied with the service for a five-star all-inclusive hotel. The beach was lovely, and the location had a nice view. The spa was wonderful, though it could have been cleaner. Our room was large enough and clean, but dated, like the old building itself, which hasn't been fully renovated. Some of the food wasn't fresh and seemed to be leftovers from previous days. Drinks were awful and very cheap; better ones cost extra. The staff weren't friendly or professional. They spoke little English, though their German was good.
