Estreya Palace

We’ve already stayed here twice this year and plan to come again later in the year. It’s peaceful but close to the centre, and seems suitable for families with young or older children. Our room looked out over a large park, with the sea about 200 m away on the other side. There’s warm mineral water in both the indoor and outdoor pools.

We chose the all-inclusive option, expecting to eat most of our meals at the hotel, but the food was bad enough that we often preferred to go elsewhere. Staff could also use some hospitality training, as they came across as unfriendly. When we arrived late in the evening through a travel agency, the welcome felt impersonal. They gave us croissants that seemed to be left over from earlier that day, though we understood given the hour. We also noticed a problem with the bathroom door. Some people in our travel group said they had a window on their floor and had to contact the agency to change rooms. There are two pools; one seemed fine, while the other looked like it needed maintenance. A child from a family we met felt unwell after swimming in it.

For this price, I won't be coming back. The room was old and dirty, the shower was broken, and breakfast was awful. You also have to pay for parking every day. This could easily be a one-star hotel.

There were 14 of us friends, and we had four lovely days, 01-04.05.24. We even got two sunny days. On the rainy day I had free use of the SPA, with an indoor thermal-water pool and two saunas. The staff were friendly and service at the table was quick. We stayed at H Palas on the first floor; all the rooms were large and newly furnished.
