Royal Beach

The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and the pool has been completely redone. For what it offers, the hotel's price-quality ratio is great compared with other places I've visited nearby. I don't understand the rude reviews from some guests below. A few guys were shouting through the night while I was there. I believe they were very intoxicated, and the owners asked them to leave to keep things peaceful for the families and other guests. All I can say is thanks for handling it.

The paid breakfast is actually served at the hotel across the street, which is very inconvenient. There also weren't enough parking spaces for all the visitors. Our room was dirty, and we waited over an hour for it to be cleaned. Then the staff started arguing about whose fault it was, which isn't something a customer wants to hear. In the evening there was hardly any hot or warm water. The bath was in such poor condition it was almost unusable, some of the power outlets didn't work, and there was nowhere to dry wet clothes.

The hotel was very quiet while I was there, which was a plus. Its location is the only real drawback. Otherwise, it definitely deserves its three stars. There's no food served inside, and the choices outside aren't really for gourmets.

We spent a week here after being transferred from another hotel, and it was a disappointment. The rooms were dirty, the water smelled bad, there was mould in the bathroom, and the Wi-Fi was poor. What they called a double or king bed was two single beds placed side by side without a stable connection. The air conditioning worked okay, and the swimming pool was open until 18. Breakfast was at another hotel. We had to ask for cleaning, fresh towels, and even toilet paper. We were bitten by bed bugs during our stay. The holidays in Varna were great, but I'd suggest choosing somewhere else if you want better memories of Bulgaria.
