ibis Styles Golden Sands Roomer Hotel

We were just a five-minute walk from the beach, which was really handy for our family of four. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable for travelling with kids, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout. There weren't many in-room extras, like slippers or toothbrushes, and we didn't really have a view. Still, those things didn't take away from a good stay. I'd recommend it to families looking for a simple, clean place in a good location.

Our short visit is one we'll remember fondly. The kids loved the pool, and the beach was about a 6-minute walk away. The hotel felt cozy, breakfast was tasty, and we liked the restaurant food too. Parking cost 60 leva for 3 days, which seemed reasonable. The staff were well trained. Some bar and restaurant staff weren't very confident in English, but we understood each other without trouble. We definitely recommend the hotel, and thank you for making our stay so nice.

The hotel has large rooms, comfortable beds, a nice lobby, good breakfast, sea nearby and parking at a reasonable price. Still, one front desk interaction stuck with me. The receptionist seemed to recognize my name and switched to Russian when speaking to us. It took me a few seconds to respond because the change caught me off guard, especially since our group of four had different nationalities. When I asked why Russian, she asked if Ukrainian would be better. I explained that she could have offered another language besides English if she thought it might suit us, since some of us spoke neither Ukrainian nor Russian. Her English was good enough for her job, though I can only guess why she chose a language that was easier for her. She acknowledged she was wrong. I wasn't trying to lecture her, I just wanted to relax and enjoy my time off.

The breakfast was good, but smoking by the pool made the area unpleasant for non-smokers. The hotel staff did nothing about it.
