La Mer Residence Beach Apartment

The apartment we stayed in was good, and the complex itself is very nice. But the pools were very cold and not very clean, with too few sunbeds and some broken ones. There was also a lot of algae on the beach. The restaurant says breakfast starts at 8:30 am, but in reality it doesn’t begin until around 11. The complex faces east, so the sun disappears quite early in the afternoon. We were there over the long weekend of September 5, 2025.

There isn’t much to do outside the resort, unfortunately. Inside, though, it feels like a little paradise, full of plants and flowers, very clean, with a pool and a beach close by. The sunbeds are free, and the beach bar has decent prices.

We liked it so much that we ended up living here in the penthouse.

I’ve lived here a long time, and it’s been a total disaster. The sea view is the one good thing. Staff are rude and don’t seem to know their duties, and every room I’ve lived in, from regular to luxury, had different kinds of insects. Nobody cares, and some rooms have drafts. If something goes wrong and you need help, don’t expect support. The swimming area at sea is small and has no rocks, so getting a relaxing swim is difficult. The children’s playground looks like it’s from the Stone Age, and the beach isn’t cleaned. The elevators may look fine, but they often twitch, making you feel like it could be your last ride. Several shared door closers are broken and can be heard from a hundred meters away. This place feels like survival, not living, and the price is unjustifiably high. Think twice before visiting.
