PSB Apartments in South Bay Beach Residence

The apartment was on level 3, apartment 1, the one shown in the website photos with the blue balloon. Two other apartments close by also get the constant noise. The listing said it wasn't noisy, but every summer morning, workers in the kitchen directly below us started around 5 a.m. They threw iron containers and pans every two or three seconds until 9 a.m. During short breaks, they'd sit under our balcony smoking and talking loudly, dragging plastic chairs in and out. Even with the window closed, we heard everything. I went downstairs and asked employees and security more than 10 times to stop the noise. Nothing helped. At the start of our stay I called Daniela, the apartment manager, several times and gently asked to move because our apartment was above the kitchen. We said we'd accept anything she suggested, but she firmly refused. We realized she had known for a long time that the apartment was very noisy, and that many people had suffered there. It was the very end of August, and we saw many people leaving. Security and other employees told us that, given how hopeless the problem was, Daniela could change our apartment. We still couldn't sleep from 5 to 9 every night for eight nights. I got ill after all that sleep loss and flying with a transfer. It was a nightmare. Please make sure you avoid this apartment for your own well-being.

This was our third visit, and we'll definitely come back. We like the pool, the beach is nearby, and the atmosphere is nice. The security setup has become the only downside. I understand needing a chip to enter the complex, but why require it again for the building and the elevator when you can't get into the complex without one? Besides, the chip works for all entrances and elevators.

The apartment was clean and spacious, with views of both the sea and pool. The bedroom faces the sunset and gets very hot in the evening and at night, and there was no second air conditioning unit there. Toiletries weren't provided. The complex is huge, so its pool feels small. It's crowded all the time, even at night, and you may hear people yelling, talking loudly, or playing music. South Varna beach is very close, with good restaurants nearby. All in all, a good experience.
