City Hotel

The room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was well designed and clean too. We had a spectacular view. The hotel is just a few steps from the city center, where the City Center, Street begins and continues to the castle. The restaurant downstairs has good vibes and food, and the receptionist was very helpful, giving us a city map.

We really enjoyed our Easter 2023 stay. The room was good for the price, very clean, and decorated nicely. The bathroom is small and basic, the kind where you shower while sitting on the WC, but that was fine for us. It was handy to have a kettle and tea, coffee, and sugar in the room. Staff were polite, and the hotel is right in the center of the city center 😁. The external elevator is a great idea.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and right in the center. Our room had enough space for two, good lighting, and working a/c. The receptionist, a sweet granny-like woman, made me feel as if I’d come home. She was so kind, gave clear instructions, and her smile makes your day. Thank you! The bathroom was the one downside because it smelled strongly of canalisation. With the door shut, the smell stayed out of the room, but it was unpleasant in the shower.

The breakfast in the pub downstairs was excellent, and the hotel offers good value in a central location. From the outside, the facade and entrance look awful, and rundown hardly covers the first impression. Inside, though, it’s modern and spotless, with excellent service. It’s worth considering if you want to be close to the city centre at a decent price. The shower has no tub, so the floor can get slippery.
