The photos on Google and Booking don’t match the rooms or the actual condition of the place at all. We paid 140 leva per person for two nights over Sylvester, which is already a lot for Bulgaria, and the rooms were unbelievably bad. Springs stuck out of the mattresses and kept poking us all night, so sleeping was impossible. Even after airing the rooms out a lot, there was still a bad smell. One room had a terrible odor. The rooms didn’t even lock, and the owner would walk in whenever without knocking. Two people had to sleep on a sofa bed with a 2 cm spring mattress. The food was really poor too. We got two slices of bread and one coffee for breakfast, then two meatballs with a side dish for the first night’s dinner. The holiday dinner was tasteless kapama that seemed left over from Christmas. Drinks meant 100 ml of alcohol and one soft drink per person. Total scam.
