Lagoona Beach Luxury Resort and Spa

Getting to the island was part of the trip: a golf cart took me from reception to the dock, then a small boat brought me across. The beach felt fairly private, with boats and jet skis passing at a reasonable distance. Showers were clean and stocked with shampoo, body wash, and soap, and there was a little shop for beach supplies. The peacocks and ducks were a nice touch for me, though that may depend on your taste. I visited Ladies Island on the weekend for 20 BHD. Towels, water, and a small cooler were included, which was handy. I believe women can access it all week, making it the only beach in Bahrain currently offering a daily ladies-only experience. Staff were friendly and the service was good. They didn't seem too strict about checking bags for outside food and drinks. Bianco Café had a decent range for a beach meal, and the beef burger was tasty and filling. The resort entrance is beautiful and immediately gives you that relaxing holiday feeling. I'd recommend it for families, as there's plenty to do around the resort. Jet skis were available for 30 BHD per half hour, which is expensive for Bahrain, though they looked quite new and good quality. The food and drink prices felt way too high, and there were quite a lot of jellyfish in the water, which was frustrating. There was no protective net to keep things from the open sea out. Still, I had a very enjoyable time and would consider going again.

We arrived during a difficult period, and the men and women at this beautiful resort made us feel very comfortable. The place was overbooked, so many staff were working very long hours. From what I saw, Aayush worked for 36 hours straight and still kept smiling. It's a wonderful team, led very well by Sandeep. Special thanks to both of them for their warmth, kindness, and hospitality. This is one of the best resorts I've visited.

The balcony overlooking the sea worried me most. Its barrier seemed quite low, which could be risky for families with young children. I was surprised the safety issue wasn't pointed out. Management should consider full-height glass barriers or raising the balcony wall. We had a spacious, comfortable 3-bedroom suite, and there was plenty of entertainment for the kids and adults during our family stay. The breakfast had an excellent range of fruit, pastries, and other choices, though I would have liked the Arabic options to feel more authentic and varied. Customer service at Lagoona lived up to the reviews and exceeded what we expected. It was a wonderful stay, and a few improvements could make it even better.

The children's favorite part was the lively performances, playful activities, and animal displays. They wandered around wide-eyed, and there was laughter through the evening as we made memories together. Our evening in Bahrain felt magical. The setting was just right, with a joyful, celebratory atmosphere, and the warm, graceful hospitality began as soon as we arrived. It made the whole experience unforgettable.
