The artistic details and refined décor carry through the first floor, while the lobby sets the mood with modern elegance. I visited The Merchant House in Manama recently, and even a visit left an impression with its luxury and attention to detail. A must-see destination in Manama.

The room at The Merchant House was stylishly designed and comfortable, with a warm, welcoming feel. The whole property has character and a lovely atmosphere. It’s a charming boutique hotel right in the heart of Manama, convenient for exploring the city. Great service and a relaxing feel too. I’d happily stay here again on a future visit to Bahrain.

I've stayed here several times and keep coming back because the service is consistent. Today Ahmed at reception handled two separate situations with calm, professionalism and careful attention. His problem-solving made a clear difference. As a business owner in hospitality, I value that kind of guest care. The place remains elegant, comfortable and very well managed.

The restaurant food is delicious, and I've visited it three times recently. The hotel is also very clean, with a beautiful design and a stylish European feel that I appreciated. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional throughout. I haven't stayed in the rooms yet, but plan to try the accommodation at the beginning of next year. As a fashion designer who notices details, I was bothered by a few things. Some uniforms looked worn, with visible tears or stains. That seems like a management oversight, not the employees' fault, and doesn't fit a five-star standard. Uniforms across departments also looked almost identical, with little difference in style, quality or identity. There were insects and mosquitoes in the lobby too, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. The hotel has a lot of potential, and a few improvements could bring it to an exceptional level.
