About a 10-minute drive from Buju city centre, this is a nice hotel. The staff and owner were very friendly, and breakfast was included and good. My room was clean with towels stocked, though the shower only had warm water for a while.

I've stayed here three times, each visit for 15 days, and would happily recommend it. The view over Bujumbura from the hills is exceptional, and the spacious room has a king-size bed under a mosquito net. Breakfast was delicious, and Laura helped arrange a hot meal each day. Pierre's warm welcome after a long flight was especially comforting. There's running water from a tank, a generator for electricity, and excellent Wi-Fi.

Meals are very good and inexpensive, with lots of local fruit at lunch. It's a pleasant, charming place to stay, and I'd highly recommend it.
