The owners gave me useful local tips on getting around and finding food, and they were really kind about it. My room was huge, with AC and mosquito nets, the WiFi was super fast, and the bathroom was great. The place was spotless, nicely decorated, and quiet inside. All that for a reasonable price. A fantastic stay.

For years I’ve sent visitors to Urban Lodge, and every one of them has loved their stay. I finally got to stay there myself, and now I understand. It’s stylish without being complicated, the hospitality is great, and it’s good value.

Urban Lodge felt like an oasis in Bujumbura. We were happy with the room, the food, and the facilities, and the owner is a great person. For us, it’s the best place to stay in Bujumbura.

The owner was wonderful and even helped me personally with a surprise. The food was wonderful too. Really nice place, I’d strongly recommend this hotel.
