Check-in took 2 hours, and quite a few doors didn’t lock. We came with a small group, and half the rooms had no air conditioning or hot water. The rooms were hit or miss, some nice and some terrible. Awful experience. There are lots of other options, so I wouldn’t pick this one.

The Wi-Fi barely worked, and breakfast was inedible. There was just one tea bag, and staff seemed quicker to ask for a credit card at check-in than to ask what we liked to eat. A plastic bag was floating in the pool, too. We got food poisoning on the first night. Later, toxic mothballs scattered around the room caused severe neuralgia during the night. The cleaning lady knocked at 9 a.m. on Saturday, then never returned for the rest of our stay, so the room wasn’t cleaned all weekend. There was construction throughout the neighborhood, but despite the hotel being practically empty, we were given a street-facing room with a window that wouldn’t close properly and a ruined mosquito net. The hotel sign was gone, and nobody had warned us about the construction, so we walked right past the place. The staff were generally friendly, though some of the waitresses didn’t exactly seem very bright. Still, this is a place to avoid. Nothing is done for the customer and nobody seems to care. They seem to want to play with the big boys, but haven’t learned the rules of the game. The room renovations were haphazard, and management didn’t seem to notice. Are there even any managers in this mess?
