The facilities are well appointed and top notch, with a good mix of comfort and convenience to cover every need.

The rooms weren’t very clean.

For a good weekend or holiday in Benin, this is the best hotel.

The room looked nice, and the decor and lighting were good. The pool was nice too, though I didn’t end up using it. There was Wi-Fi and the doors used electric cards. The look of the place was worth the money, but nothing else was, in my honest opinion. As someone who doesn’t speak French, I found it hard to stay here. The receptionist and front desk person didn’t understand English, and service could feel impersonal and dismissive. The front desk staff especially had no warmth or real enthusiasm. Maybe it was the language barrier, or maybe they just didn’t care. The staff at the restaurant in front of the hotel were the exception. My room was spacious but had no wardrobe, just a makeshift hanger. The warm water switch on the tap never gave us warm water, so we had to keep going back to reception to complain about that and other things. There were lots of mosquitoes. In the end, they gave us insecticide to flit them, but only after we asked, and they couldn’t be bothered to handle it themselves. The mosquitoes came back later, and they still wouldn’t flit the room for us. They wouldn’t clean until we demanded it, and they didn’t bring fresh towels or soap for the second night. The television wasn’t displaying properly either, and nothing was done about it. Bring an extension box, since the rooms only have 2 point sockets. They’ll give you an adaptor if you ask at reception, but you have to go there for it, they only provide one per room, and they expect you to bring it back when you check out. I didn’t have a great experience here at all.
