Residence MaryHouse

It's a quiet neighborhood, and the apartments are huge, with good AC. You can walk to the main road in a few minutes and catch a zem to the city centre. Fidjrosse beach is about a 30-minute walk if you feel like exercising. The apartments are equipped for longer stays, with a gas cooker, TV, and fridge. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and airport collection is available if you need it. Renee was especially helpful. Thanks, I'd definitely stay again and recommend the place.

The staff were probably the best part, so kind and warm, and they went out of their way to help with what I needed. This is the most well-rounded hotel I've stayed at in Cotonou. It's affordable and has all the essentials, including AC, Wi-Fi, and hot water in the shower. The location is close to the airport as well as local shops and restaurants, which was a plus for me. I'd happily stay again.

I felt safe and at home here, which really matters when traveling solo as a woman. The staff, including the owner, were warm and friendly, and communication was smooth. They answered my questions and were reachable on WhatsApp. The rooms were clean, and I liked having both fans and AC so I could choose what to use. Breakfast was included, and lunch and dinner were available at good prices and quality. It's also within walking distance of food options and banks; there are two ATMs about 10 minutes away, plus a few places to exchange money. They went above and beyond. I'd recommend staying here and would come back.

The location was convenient for exploring Cotonou, and the price was good. We stayed three nights in a one-bedroom apartment, and everything was as described, with no surprises. The airport is close and there's a free transfer. All the staff were helpful and very pleasant.
