Resort Bonaire

The room and the view were beautiful, and the bar was great. The pool was great too. But the air conditioners hardly worked, the cleaners never showed up, and the mattresses were stained. We also had to fiddle with our hot water tanks ourselves. Their emergency line was disconnected, and when we asked people for help, they kept pointing fingers until they closed.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and air conditioned, and everything else was good too. The bar was nice, and there’s a pizzeria on the property with tasty pizza. One thing to bring along is soap and shower gel, since those were missing. You can also pick them up at the supermarket a two-minute walk away.

The location is great, but the people working there really let us down. We booked a weekend in a two-room apartment for our son's birthday, and right when we entered, it smelled like a broken sewer pipe. When we ran the sink, water came rushing out from under the cabinets, which explained the smell. The second air conditioner wasn't working either. I told the manager, who said aircon services don't work on weekends. That seemed very strange to me, since I've been a contractor on the island for 13 years and know a bit about how that world works. The manager said she'd get back to me, but that turned out to be just as untrue as what she'd said about the air conditioner service. At the pool, our family and kids were greeted with, "We've never seen you people here before." They didn't believe we were staying at the hotel. Great service. We'll never come back. I've never had an experience like this in my life.

Went with my little cousins and they had such a good time in the kids' pool. It was a fun, relaxing visit. The service was great, though it can get a little busy. There's also a pizza place on the property, and the pizza was delicious. I'd mostly recommend it for families.
