The location is ideal, within walking distance of El Prado, the main square, and most central spots. Parking has limited height, so you may need to make other arrangements if you have a tall vehicle. The building is clearly older, with dated decorations and 70s-style furniture, but the beds and mattresses are extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is a little basic, though more than enough for the rate. I’d stay again and recommend it to others.

The room I was first given had long hairs all over the bed, even though I have short hair. It made me wonder whether the blankets had been washed in the past decade. They say they have all the COVID cleaning measures in place, but I wonder if that applies only to reception. The hotel looks straight out of the 70s, from the rooms to the lobby. I don’t recommend it at all.

The staff really make this place. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and service-oriented, and even silly questions got pleasant answers. The rooms are nice enough and well kept, with lots of hot water and great WiFi. The free breakfast is limited, but not objectionable. It’s my first hotel in Bolivia, so I’m comparing it only with places I’ve stayed in other Latin American countries.

The breakfast buffet was empty or very limited, and the room still has the same design it’s had since the 70s. This place is old and outdated, with very little value for money. At this price, I’d strongly suggest choosing another hotel.
