We were touched by the warmth of everyone on staff, and the service was impeccable. Andrea at the front desk, the bell boy, and the breakfast team, Julieta, Jhefferson, Mateo, and Mijael, were all incredibly kind. It was clear that their kindness came from the heart, not just because it was their job.

The pool has great views, the hotel is comfortable, and breakfast was the best we've had on this trip. We had a wonderful stay. Service staff were hard to find around the hotel. It was quiet while we were there, but if you wanted a drink at the pool, there often wasn't anyone around. Some way to order, even an app or online system, could work better than waiting for staff to appear. My wife also had a massage that wasn't good. She asked for a firm massage, but the person barely put any effort into it. I wouldn't get one at the hotel.

The rooms were beautiful, the location was quiet and good for recuperating, and breakfast was very good. The hotel might be closer to a 4 star place in the US, but what made our stay a five star one was the staff. It felt like a masterclass in hospitality. They truly seemed to care that we had a great experience and made sure we had what we needed. We did spend more here than at any other hotel, and if I stayed again I'd personally skip the massage, but the staff were clearly invested in making our stay good.

The room smelled of bleach, and the AC was weak. It was noisy too. The restaurant was abysmally disappointing. Starters came out last, the fresh juices weren't fresh and had sugar added, and the tea tasted chlorinated. They used low-quality oil for multiple dishes and had no olive oil. The tomato pasta tasted fishy.
