Hotel Boutique Rosario Sur

I was on the eighth floor in a beautifully decorated, very comfortable large room. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Internet service could be better. Laundry cost five dollars per kilo, rather than being charged by the piece.

We had dinner at the restaurant, with pumpkin soup, trout, llama, and dessert, and it felt like a meal at one of the best restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful, with huge, modern, clean, cozy rooms and a wonderful view. Every detail seemed thought through, and it was better than any five-star place I’ve stayed in. The staff paid close attention to every guest, offering advice, arranging transfers, and keeping our luggage while we went to Titicaca. It’s in a quiet, prestigious area at a relatively low altitude of 3400 meters, which was great for staying and sleeping well. I highly recommend it and hope to return.

Staying here felt like being with family. The welcome and the care throughout were sensational, and the gorgeous rooms have views that make the place even better. There’s even a pool table, and lots of places to eat within walking distance. It seems to be in an upmarket part of town. I’ve been lucky with hotels in several countries, but this one is the best.

Friendly staff and excellent rooms in a fantastic, quiet location. It’s just a bit far from the city centre, but still a great place to stay in La Paz.
