We had a really enjoyable time at Biocentro Guembe Park. The animal mix was lovely, from colorful exotic birds to tortoises and playful monkeys, and everything seemed well cared for in a peaceful setting for people and animals alike. The pool area had its own fun atmosphere, with good music, food, and refreshing drinks. A waterfall added to the relaxing feel, and it’s easy to spend a whole day there, enjoying nature and cooling off in the water. We really enjoyed the blend of wildlife, relaxation, and fun.

I mostly went for the plants, the park, and the aviary. There’s also a small monkey island, though the monkeys were hiding during the heavy shower on the day I visited. The trip from Santa Cruz by Uber cost 41 Bs and took under 20 minutes. It’s a park, hotel, resort, swimming area, and aviary, with admission prices varying based on the time and what you choose to do. Families with young kids seemed to make up many of the visitors. I’d allow about three hours for the park and aviary. The many cafes were full, though I didn’t eat at one. It was a pleasant trip.

The pools were nice and clean, with depths from very shallow to at least 1.6 meters. The huge bird enclosure gives you an incredible view, and you can spend at least an hour walking around to see the animals. A beautiful day out in Santa Cruz, and great for both kids and adults.

You can swim, kayak, and see lots of native animals and plants. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is good, though the wait at noon is too long. There’s also a popular zipline, but it has no safety bars. Visitors aged 60 and over pay half price for admission and get almost 30% off restaurant food.
