The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, but the rest of the stay was extremely disappointing. My family and I didn't sleep at all: the bar's live music started around midnight and went on until about 3:00 a.m. A thin glass wall was the only barrier between the bar and the rooms, so the music and guests were unbearably loud. I still get a headache thinking about it. We left earlier than planned, but loud music carried on the next day from the rooftop terrace, making it impossible to rest. None of this was mentioned in the booking description, and we'll be requesting a refund. Breakfast was very poor too. There was bread for toast but no toaster, so we were left with plain, cold bread. The kitchen had only a small amount of scrambled eggs, maybe enough for 2-3 people, although at least 10 guests were eating. When we asked, the cook said there were no more eggs. That was unacceptable. The room was the only good part. The price had seemed good at first, but having to leave early and book somewhere else meant we paid twice. I strongly advise people looking for a quiet, restful stay to avoid this place.

The location was good, but the rest was bad: the rooms and toilets were dirty, and there was no hot water or toilet paper. It got very loud from 1am. Breakfast and kitchen use were listed as included, but neither was. There were no lockers in the rooms, and guests couldn't use the fridge.

My friend and I got there at 10pm and waited 30 minutes for reception to let us in. We knocked, rang the bell, and called the WhatsApp numbers. Unbelievable. If guests can't open the front door with the key they've been given, or get in safely when they need to, that's a bad system. I recommend this hostel to NO ONE. Do not stay.

The roof terrace is amazing in the afternoon and evening. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, and the service was amazing too. We loved the drinks, the WiFi is quick, and the burgers smelled and tasted heavenly. I'm drinking gin and tonics right now and wanted to leave a review because I love this place.

The food took 50 mins to arrive, and the Hamburger Lamayalla was mediocre at best in my view, so I had to lower my rating. Even so, this is one of the coolest hostels in Sucre. The Sunday Rooftop-Party is awesome, and the staff are well trained and friendly.
