The room was modern and really comfortable, and I liked looking out at the street through the big windows. It felt very Sucre, and we could easily walk to lots of restaurants and the center. Our host was very kind and made us a delicious breakfast every morning. We arrived around New Year's and found a problem with the shower. I told the host, and she got a maintenance person over soon after; they fixed it. That's the whole story, and I'm glad it stayed that simple. They handled it quickly, and I respect that the maintenance person came in on a holiday. At a hotel in Uyyuni, we'd gone days without help for a toilet problem.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and nice, though the beds are a little narrow. For just a couple of nights, that wasn't a problem, especially given how good everything else was. The place is very clean, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the price for what you get is great. It's also very close to the center of Sucre.

Check-in and checkout were very efficient, and the included American breakfast was complete. There was also a good sized workspace. The bathroom was great, with strong water pressure and hot water that came quickly. The room had comfortable furniture and a bed, plenty of storage, good lighting, a big-screen TV, free internet, a microwave, an electric kettle, a safe, tea and coffee, silverware, plates and cups, and a small fridge. Double windows kept it quiet. A great stay overall.

Nelly was there almost every day of our stay and was the best, so friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the location was great. We absolutely loved Sucre, and our wonderful stay at San Juan Suites was a big part of that. I'd give it more than five stars if I could!

The location is superb, just three blocks from the main square, and the staff were great. The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfortable, the showers hot, and everything was clean. Breakfast was delicious!
