Bellevue

We spent Christmas in Bellevue #3, a ground-floor two-bedroom, two-bathroom walkout. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a really convenient spot. From the balcony we saw two sea turtles almost every morning. The pools are small and were pretty cold, but they worked well for our family, and most of the time we had them to ourselves. We’d consider staying again.

The bedding was a terrible start: the pillows were bloody and the sheets weren’t clean. The front door lets in all the noise, and the dryer is broken; the instructions they provided were no help. Curtains do little to block light, and there aren’t any shades outside the bedrooms. The keys need several turns to work, while the so-called night lights come on with motion instead of responding to darkness. Hot water lasts about five minutes because the heater is so small. The stairs are designed in a way that makes them easy to climb like a ladder and jump the fence. The pools are just pools. I can’t recommend this place.

We had very good communication with the host. The condo itself was amazing, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and all the basics for a beach stay. It’s right on the beach, with white sand that feels like your own little piece of heaven. Being on the first floor meant we could step out to the pool and then go down the stairs to the water. Just amazing.

The ocean views, pool, and private beach were fantastic. Martin and Nicole were kind and shared lots of useful tips for restaurants and grocery shopping. The Bellevue apartment had plenty of room, everything was working well, and the app’s instructions were clear. We had a great stay.
