The circular room for yoga and calisthenics was the best part of the gym. I came for a few days while in Bonaire, and the day pass is $15, sometimes less if you ask at your hotel. There’s enough equipment for a good workout if you know what you’re doing. Dumbbells go up to around 40kg. The squat rack is passable, but it doesn’t meet Olympic standards, and the bars are non-standard, such as 10kg. The machines are okay, though they could definitely use a refresh. If I were in Bonaire longer, I’d probably check out other gyms, but this place works for a few days.

You can get an okay workout here, but the equipment and machines are old and not very well maintained. The classes are very good, though crowded, and there aren’t enough of them. The class room mats are gross, so bring a towel to cover one or bring your own.

We booked BonBida through Sunwise, and they were wonderful from the start. Jeroen welcomed us, answered our questions, and gave us contact details in case anything came up. They replied quickly whenever needed. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had a fully equipped kitchen with lots of extras. We especially loved the huge balcony facing the lovely garden and pristine pool. It’s also well located, with an easy walk to the ocean for swimming and snorkeling.
