Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire

We really liked the apartment, which was fantastic and well equipped, and the location was great. The beach was beautiful, the cocktail service was excellent, and front desk and housekeeping did a great job. The menu could use more variety. I missed simple choices like a club sandwich, something easy to prepare and nice to have at the beach bar. Some waiters could also improve their friendliness, smiles, guest interaction, and commitment. Internal training might help. This hotel deserves positive energy and good vibes. It's a magnificent place with a lot of potential. With good management and a focus on excellent service, it has a bright future.

Bina Restaurant was a highlight, and breakfast at the central restaurant was excellent too. The Scuba Do dive center was top-notch, with a great diving locker setup and fantastic, professional, helpful dive staff. Our room was clean and comfortable, and Wi-Fi was reliable throughout our stay at Hotel Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire. There are a few areas that could make the guest experience better. Parking for rental cars was often full, so dedicated guest parking would help. Calling two adjoining rooms an “apartment” was a bit misleading. We expected a shared living room, but got two bedrooms. It would help if front desk staff explained the booked package benefits at check-in, and extra staff at busy check-in times could make the process quicker and clearer. Bina is great, but the central bar and restaurant felt average for regular meals, and drink service was slow. Still, we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you!

The beach and reef right in front of the resort made it easy to relax and explore. We spotted all kinds of fish, including an octopus. Even during a busy Christmas week we could find loungers without feeling crowded. Bari Beach Bar was consistently good for lunch and dinner, and several other excellent restaurants are within walking distance. We usually choose smaller properties over resorts, but Chocogo was just the right size for us. Downtown was only a 2-3 minute drive. Our ocean-facing room worked well for two people over eight days. It was clean, and the bed was firm but comfortable. The front desk handled our requests wonderfully, and parking on site was never a problem. We had a fantastic stay and are already planning to return next year!

Meals were a pleasure, with great food, nice staff, and a lovely atmosphere. The pool and beach areas were clean and safe, good places to relax or take a dip. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout the property. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the island. The room was lovely, thank you for a memorable visit!
