The Scenery Hotel Saba

We were there for the hotel’s soft opening after our original booking was misplaced, and were lucky to get upgraded. It had been newly rebuilt and modernized, with clean, neat rooms, lovely fittings, and stunning views. The bar was beautiful, and the restaurant was due to open soon. Rooms came in different sizes: the less expensive ones were a little smaller, with smaller bathrooms and slightly obscured views, while the larger rooms had more living space, bigger bathrooms, and larger balconies. Whatever the size, each had one bed, luxury bedding, and great pillows. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though they did say no to one person in our group who wanted to go hiking, and he went anyway. The location was perfect, within walking distance of a lovely town with nice restaurants, shops, and even a brewery. We came to scuba dive and loved that as much as we loved the island. It’s a hidden gem, and everyone in my group would happily return. We can’t wait to go back.
