Pousada Appaloosa

Zero.

Great.

We had planned on just one night at Hotel Apaloosa, but enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra day. The staff are welcoming and polite, and the place has that feel where you can settle in like you're at home. The full-board meals were a real surprise, everything tasted great and seemed carefully prepared. Michelle, our host, was attentive and thoughtful throughout, and tio Val from recreation made things lighter and more fun. He really cared about us and treated everyone with respect and good cheer. We're already planning to return next month, before the hotel closes temporarily for renovations. It's a shame it won't be open, since I'd happily come all year. Thanks so much, team Apaloosa!

The food was a highlight for me, especially the homemade seasoning. Breakfast was wonderful, and lunch and dinner were very good too. I wanted a quiet place with full board for Christmas and New Year, and this was just right for a proper rest. It's family-friendly, tidy, calm, and surrounded by nature. The inn has a pool, good facilities, and a welcoming feel, with good value for the money. The service really stood out. Michele, the manager, was very attentive and dedicated. Val, the entertainer, had us laughing, and Régis, the pool bartender, was warm and friendly, always serving with care. The city has its own charm, with horse rides, a little train, trails, a waterfall, and lots of nature. Monte Sião is close by too, so I'll take the chance to buy cheese. I'd strongly recommend it for Christmas, New Year's, or a holiday with meals included, relaxation, fun, and genuinely warm service.
