Nice.

For the price of the stay, I expected a lot more. The worst part was lunch at the restaurant: we paid 125 reais for two people and couldn't eat any of the food on our plates. It was awful. The hotel was also very dark at night. The pools, hammock area, and river deck were so dim that we didn't enjoy being there after dark. Around the main pool there weren't enough tables or chairs, so we had to wait for another family to leave before we could sit. There were lots of dead beetles in that pool, though we understand it's outdoors, and there was quite a bit of slime on the bottom. The pool beside the waterfall was so dirty we couldn't even get in to take a photo. We also found spider webs in parts of the room.

The pools are a bit separated from the chalets, and getting to them is somewhat difficult. It could be tiring with a baby in your arms, and I imagine it would be quite challenging for a person with a disability. The chalet itself was very comfortable and well equipped, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was great as well. The restaurant is simple, but the food is good and the staff there are friendly. It's a comfortable place to stay somewhere peaceful and close to nature, as long as you're not looking for much luxury. I'd recommend it.

The pools use natural water straight from the waterfall on the property. I saw some complaints about pool cleanliness, but in a natural setting like this, leaves falling into the water are unavoidable. The water quality is incomparable. Everything else made a great impression too: the facilities are fantastic, the room and bathroom smelled lovely, and the cleaning was wonderful. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, from reception to the rest of the staff. Breakfast was incredible. This is a wonderful place and well worth visiting!
