Beautiful views, a great location in town if you want peace and good water, and lovely people who look after you while you’re there.

The hosts Márcia and Rickson are one of the highlights and make this lovely place in Matutu well worth recommending. The inn sits right by a river, with excellent pools accessible from the property. Rooms are renovated, bright, spacious, and well equipped. Breakfast is excellent, the gardens are cared for, and cleaning was thorough, with Covid safety protocols in place.

The outdoor area is wonderful, with lots of nature and lovely scenery, plus a natural pool and a waterfall on the property. The owners were very friendly, polite, and helpful. The room was cozy and comfortable. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

The sound of a waterfall in the background and the wonderful view make this a peaceful place to rest, reflect, and unwind. The inn is outside town and the rooms don’t have TVs. The owners greeted everyone with warmth and attention, and the rooms were comfortable and impeccably clean. Waterfalls are easy to reach, both on the property and nearby. Breakfast was very good, and in the evenings they serve a really tasty, distinctive broth. We highly recommend it. Alessandra and Pollyana.

Breakfast starts at 8:30 and is delicious, with the best Minas Gerais pão de queijo I’ve had. Rickson, the owner, is friendly, always happy to help with tips about Aiuruoca, and up for chatting about anything. The room was comfortable and welcoming, as is the rest of the inn, with several different communal areas. My favorite inn stay so far. Highly recommend!
