Pousada S¿o Vale das Olivas

Being surrounded by nature was a special part of our stay, with a real sense of calm and welcome, like being at a country place. We spotted lots of different birds. I, my husband, and the kids felt so at home with Gil and Santana, who were lovely and always ready to help, even when our son got up to mischief around the property. They gave us great tips for things to see and do in Aiuruoca, which helped a lot since our car sits low, though it handled the dirt roads fine. It was our wedding anniversary, and they surprised us with cupcakes at breakfast. Such a sweet touch. Breakfast was really good, made with local products and lots of care: cakes, breads, cheeses, jams, and cheese bread. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and everything felt new. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommend it!

The owners were so welcoming and attentive from our very first contact. They’re hard to describe, honestly, I have nothing but praise for them. The inn is well equipped, spotlessly clean, and every detail feels thoughtfully cared for. Great location, a wonderful shower, and a tasty breakfast with plenty of variety. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return!

Gil and Santana made all the difference to our trip with their great recommendations for places to visit and things to do in Aiuruoca. They’re wonderful people, attentive to every detail and so easy to talk to. Breakfast was fantastic, with local products prepared with care: cakes, breads, cheeses, jams, and delicious cheese bread. The room was a real treat, beautifully decorated and spotless, with lovely-smelling sheets and towels. It had a hair dryer, a great fan, and even a heater, though we didn’t use it because it was hot. The owners’ good taste shows in every detail, and the peaceful connection with nature made us feel so welcome. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back.
