Pousada Bela Mar

There are a bakery and pharmacy close by, and the Pousada Bela Mar is very close to the river terminal. For lunch, I'd recommend Restaurante do Coroa Espaço Gourmet, with great food nearby. The inn itself is peaceful and cozy, with welcoming, attentive staff and a generous, tasty breakfast. The Wi-Fi works, though the signal is weak in some rooms, and mobile reception is almost nonexistent, so it's worth bringing a flash drive with movies or shows to watch on the room TV. I would definitely stay here again.

We already miss Algodoal. It's a pleasant, quiet place with a garden, hammocks, and an outdoor shower to wash off the dust. The staff were attentive, and breakfast was excellent. Our room was small but comfortable, with air conditioning and a minibar. There were four of us, sharing a double bed and bunk beds. The inn is about a seven-minute walk from the river terminal.

The staff were pleasant, and the inn met our basic needs. I had trouble finding available power outlets in the room. The shower pressure was very weak, and the beds weren't very comfortable.

A really cozy place, and impeccably clean.
