Pousada Flor De Anis

The pool and sauna were clean, organized, and well cared for, making it easy to truly relax. Pousada Flor de Anis also offers good value, with comfort, quality, and excellent service. It’s a peaceful, welcoming retreat that works well for all kinds of families, whether you’re after a romantic getaway or a comfortable, quiet stay. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, with two air conditioners and two TVs. Everything was impeccably clean, in the rooms and shared areas, which made me feel comfortable and secure. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of variety and prepared with care. The staff were very polite, kind, and helpful, and the owner deserves a special mention for being so welcoming and attentive to every detail. I highly recommend Pousada Flor de Anis if you’re staying in Alto Paraíso and want to explore the nearby waterfalls while returning to a calm place with good energy. I’d definitely come back and recommend it without reservation.

The room was lovely, with wonderful pillows and a comforter, and the service was excellent, especially from Lebê, who helped us from the reservation onward. The pousada is very well located, with several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Breakfast was outstanding, with a varied buffet plus omelets and tapiocas made on request. The one thing I’d change is to heat the pool. After a day swimming in cold waterfalls, a heated pool would be perfect, haha. Other than that, everything was a 1000.

The place already looks inviting from the outside. Inside, it’s clean, airy, thoughtfully laid out, and simply but nicely furnished, with a modern look. My room was roomy and had air conditioning, a microwave, fridge, cabinets, a smart TV, and big windows. There were two beds, one double and one single, with fresh, clean, comfortable linens. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including fruit, bread, and cakes. Everything I tried tasted good, especially the chocolate cake and hot dog sauce. The staff were polite, welcoming, and ready to help when needed. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back. It’s a lovely, comfortable place, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The location is excellent, right on the main street with restaurants and a laundry nearby. Every afternoon during my stay, they put out complimentary coffee and simple but really tasty toast for guests. Pousada Flor de Anis was spotless, with a heated pool and a full breakfast. The room was great too, comfortable bed, lovely linens, and a wonderful shower. Every staff member was friendly and very helpful.
