The staff are extremely friendly, and everything is very clean. The place itself is amazing, though the surroundings could be better. There’s one good outing around the Moitas area; we missed the river trip, which is probably great too. The pool area is lovely. Our room had a bathtub on the balcony, which I highly recommend. We’ll come back.

We stayed in an incredible room with an outdoor tub for two. The pool is amazing, right in front of a calm, quiet, warm beach. The food was nice too, though it could use some improvement. For me, the place gets a 9. Really nice!

The hotel connects directly to a nice beach, and the staff are friendly. That’s about all I liked. The food was really bad, with croissants warmed in the microwave at breakfast and ants all over the food. The kitchen was poor in general. DePraia Hotel serves much better food. The rooms are badly insulated, so the noise from rain makes it hard to sleep. You can also hear every voice and car on the street behind the hotel. When it rains, water pours into the bath. The shower pressure is almost nonexistent, and power cuts happen very regularly.

The food and live entertainment were good, but the waitstaff were very dishonest. We tipped for the music, then tipped again for the service. When we paid RS$ for two bottles of water, they wouldn't give us the change. Shame on them for giving the town a bad reputation. I won't ever go back.

The rooms are clean and well furnished, and the food and service are great. Everyone was kind and very polite. The location is excellent, literally just steps from the beach. The WiFi is pretty bad, but the whole city has an infrastructure problem, so that's not the hotel's fault. I'll definitely return.
