Pousada Morada Dos Ventos

Cinara, the owner, was so polite, helpful, and welcoming, and the women who work there are lovely too. The location is excellent, and the place feels very safe. Our spacious room had an amazing view, plenty of air and sun, and no musty smell. The shower was hot, there was air conditioning, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade products. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back another time.

The pousada is charming, clean, and has daily room service. A few things could be better, though. There's no wall around the property, just a fence, and with everything open and no security camera, guests don't feel safe. People walking by can see the rooms. Breakfast could have more choices and faster replenishment, and the housekeepers seem unwilling when we ask for something. The bedroom window curtain is too short, so the light comes in as soon as it gets light outside.

The owner was kind and very polite, and the rooms were really clean. Breakfast ends quite early, at 09:30. I arrived at 09:50 on my first day and couldn't have any. Also, keep in mind the drive from Vitória airport takes 1.5h.

The walk to the very pretty Castelhanos beach is about 10 minutes. The pousada is cozy, with very spacious rooms and a minibar. The bed, sheets, pillows, and towels were reasonably comfortable, though they only change them every three days. Breakfast was very good and had a nice range of options. We were there in high season, so there were a few bumps, including no water in the rooms, but the owners dealt with that as quickly as possible. They and the staff were attentive and helpful, always ready to assist with friendly conversation and a lot of warmth.
