Apto no Promenade Angra Resort

I rented through Airbnb and this was my second time here. A great spot, safe, clean, and quiet.

The apartment was spotless and well organized, and its view was the best in the resort. The owner was easily the best host we could have asked for. This is simply the best place to stay in Angra dos Reis. We'll definitely come back to Angra and stay here again.

The pool was wonderful, but the lake was quite dirty. In apartment 101 there were a few spiders on the curtain, and a cockroach showed up with no poison available. Don't count on the beach: it's really more of a swamp, with fish and lots of tree branches and shoots in the sand. The smell from the speedboats is unbearable. It did look pretty in the photo I took, though! The condo itself is nice.

The hotel that used to operate here is closed, so the pool is the only facility still open. There's no restaurant or sauna anymore. Some units are quite neglected, with mold and broken utensils. It's also about a 15-minute drive from central Angra, so you'll need a car to get around.
