Costao Do Sol-Suites

The employees were all very nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean, with lovely views. But at this price, the place should have been much nicer and offered more amenities. The room had a toilet whose lid had to be held up to pee, and a half-clogged sink. Breakfast was terrible, there's no room service, and dinner was frozen food at a very high price. The location wasn't great either, close to a beach that isn't very nice and far from restaurants and downtown. The owner lives in a mansion next to the hotel, while little things around the property don't get fixed. There's no receptionist about half the time.

We stayed four days and didn't have a good experience, despite the good reviews. The receptionist was very nice, but seemed overwhelmed because she was the only person handling reception and breakfast. One day, with the cleaning lady absent, she even had to clean our room. Breakfast was very poor, with no fruit or juice, and the same cakes were served from our arrival through departure. By the end they were quite dry and hard. The receptionist left around 5 or 6 pm, and after that nobody was at the hotel. One night we came back to find our bedroom door wide open, with all our belongings inside, after the cleaning lady had left it that way. We were the only guests. I wouldn't return or recommend it.

Such a lovely place. It was clean and well equipped, and the owners were kind and very polite. We enjoyed our stay a lot, thank you for the hospitality. Highly recommend!

The sea view here is wonderful, and this is the prettiest inn I've stayed at in a long time. Our room was immaculate, breakfast was delicious, and everyone welcomed us so warmly. Thanks for having us. I'll definitely recommend it and come back again ❤️
