We had a great stay. The rooms were clean and roomy, and the staff were lovely. The resort sits tucked away from the road, and Angras is beautiful. I hope I can come back someday.

Angra itself is a dream, but among the Melia's hotels I’ve visited, this one would rank last on my “best” list. The beach is small, and the water is murky, so hardly anyone seems keen to swim. It’s enclosed by the location rather than open water. The pool also feels small, and its water isn’t very clear; the gym is poorly maintained too. Food is okay, though the choices are limited from day to day, and there’s no all-inclusive stay option. The entertainment is boring. Everything else is okay.
In my opinion, none of the many resorts I’ve tried in Angra dos Reis beats this one. The infrastructure is hard to match, with several pools plus a massage area, sauna, gym, and more.
We had a lot of fun at the bar, gym, and swimming pool. It’s an interesting resort.
The room and service were excellent, and the location is great.
