Horrible experience. We parked the car and went to the beach for lunch, and in my opinion it was the worst beach in Rio. When we returned to the hotel, I told the owner we weren’t going to stay. He demanded payment for four days, even though there was no contract or anything. I was willing to pay for one night, but he became very aggressive, so we left. Usually people in Brasil are so nice, but that wasn’t the case here. Don’t stay. The rooms are horrible, and the pictures don’t show what you’ll actually get. Beware.

Omg, the best place ever. Sr Manuel is the best person in the world, and so is his family. I stayed there for almost two weeks because of coronavirus, and it was the best experience of my life. The beach is about half a block away, and there’s a restaurant and bar too. estou com muita saudade de voltar lá.

The beach is very close, and the pousada is in a handy location. We had a great stay, with cozy accommodations and incredible service.

We went to celebrate my birthday together, and the warm welcome made it feel like a lovely place for families too. The atmosphere was cozy. We’ll definitely come back.
