The guided tour was the highlight, and it was free. Rita and Isaías were wonderful guides, lively and knowledgeable, and their cultural and religious lesson changed how I see the Basilica. They’re the reason I chose this hotel and would recommend it. A thousand out of a thousand, what a great experience! The hotel is near the church. The staff were all helpful and attentive, the room was clean and smelled fresh, the mattress was firm, and breakfast was very good. My one complaint is that the smoke detector’s LED kept blinking continuously, which made it hard for me to sleep with the room dark.

The location was much farther from the Events Center than we expected when we booked. The rooms could also use a closed-off place to put clothes and a drying rack for bath towels. The service was good and the staff were very attentive. The hotel’s Basilica guides, Fernanda and eItala, were beyond our expectations. Great.

The highlight for me was the guided tour of the Basilica with Fernanda Carvalho. She was friendly, attentive, very knowledgeable, and lots of fun. I loved it. The reception was good, breakfast was good, and the room had air conditioning and a TV. The location was good too.

Good value for the price. The place and reception felt welcoming, the room was clean and organized, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. They offer a FREE guided tour of the basilica, and it was spectacular. Fernanda was a friendly, engaging guide. I recommend it.
