G2 Beach Hotel

The location is good, the pool is good, and breakfast was the saving grace. The staff were helpful, but they’re running a hotel that seems to be falling apart. I couldn’t understand its Google rating. I stayed three days and the cost was high. The internet was basically nonexistent except in the restaurant. The king bed was just okay, with a very worn mattress, and the shower was clogged, so we had to use the hand shower. The facilities need maintenance. There were no outlets, and the bedroom light felt like a nightclub. I used an extension cord I had in the car. Parking was on the street. It seemed safe, until the car was stolen. I was counting down the days until the stay was over. I wouldn’t recommend it under any circumstances.

It’s a simple hotel, but clean and safe, right on the beach, with two nice pools. The value for money seemed good, and I’d stay here again. The downsides were the small parking lot, which can’t fit all the cars, and a very basic, repetitive breakfast. Parking on the street in front seemed safe, though.

Alex really made our stay. He looks after breakfast and the restaurant, and was so attentive and friendly. Scarlet at reception was wonderful too. It’s a pleasant, family friendly, and sophisticated place right by the beach. The bar and restaurant serve several dishes with seafood, beef, pork, and chicken. I forgot to mention that it’s just a few meters from Beach Park.

We celebrated 12 years together here, and waking up to the sunrise from the balcony with the pool opening onto the sea view was priceless. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt very family friendly. G2 Beach Hotel is just right if you want to be right on the sand. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the tapioca with cheese made fresh, along with the sweet breads and delicious cakes. I highly recommend it for a special occasion!
