It’s near the beach and restaurants, but I wouldn’t want to stay there again.

The inn needs a major renovation before it can properly host guests. It seemed to rain more inside than out. My room had a leak, the air conditioner wouldn’t cool, and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to turn it on or off. The sheets were dirty, the bathroom light was burned out and they didn’t replace it, and the towels were black with grime. There was no drinking water, wires were exposed and could have shocked us, and breakfast was only a light morning snack.

The location was good, and the employees tried to be as attentive as they could. But there’s a lot that needs fixing. A general renovation is needed, since poor preventive maintenance has led to leaks, broken floors and cabinets, and a lot of electrical workarounds. Some rooms had no minibar, while others had rusty, nonworking ones. The bathroom had no shower enclosure and the shower was weak. Parking was cramped, among other problems. Breakfast was disappointing, especially for a city with such a strong Northeastern culture.
