The staff were very welcoming, and the hostel is in a great location for a very low price. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, though, and the accommodation was extremely basic and even a bit shabby.

Only five parking spaces are available, on a first-come, first-served basis. The bathroom was small and dirty, and using hot water in the shower would trip the breaker. They supplied a bath towel, but no face or floor towel, and there wasn’t even a top sheet on the bed. The window looked onto a shaft, and opening it let a bad smell fill the room. At the end of our corridor there was also a hole with all the hotel’s air conditioners in it, and the whole area was filthy. Their slogan promises well-being at a fair price, but what they charge is nowhere near fair.

The photos don’t match what we found in room 204. It was tiny, and the walls and floor were so grimy I don’t think they’d been cleaned in years. The bathroom stall was broken, the drain gave off a terrible stench, and everything was filthy. The wardrobe was broken and dusty, with the air conditioner mounted above it on a piece of wood. Turning it on made such a horrible noise that nobody could sleep. The saving graces were the friendly, attentive receptionist, the varied breakfast, and the location. It might work for a weekend, but I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay.
