Pousada Ferreira III

The place was awful, and I wouldn't recommend going there. We paid 1,000 for two nights, but an unexpected situation came up about 40 minutes after we arrived, so we couldn't stay. We had filled out the paperwork and gone to get our bags from the car. The attendant who handled our check-in said she couldn't refund the full amount and gave us only 800 back because we had completed the form. The people there showed no consideration.

The rooms were good, and breakfast was perfect. What I couldn't accept was having to leave the room key at reception every time we went out. That felt completely unreasonable.

We paid 700 for two nights when the city was very busy, so we didn't have many other options. Still, I wouldn't recommend this place. The shower was very weak, the mattress was misshapen, and both the breakfast and the area where it was served were poor quality. The room itself was a good size. The TV wasn't working because a breaker was off, and no one was available to fix it until the night employee arrived. He was very friendly and sorted it out. We also had to ask for cleaning supplies, and were told they had run out of soap.

The bed was excellent, the pillow was great, and the room was very clean. Everyone was so friendly, and they took care of everything we requested. Breakfast was perfect too, with the cooks kindly making a few things that weren't even on the menu. I loved the hotel and its service.
