Hotel Alta Vista

The hotel is well set up and in a good location, with excellent value for the money. A wonderful experience.

Nick was adorable and won us over, and we'll be back soon, definitely staying at Hotel Alta Vista again. From the rooftop you can watch the sunset, and there's a pool and a garage. We felt very safe. The hotel gave us quality service for up to 50% less than other places in the area, with a generous breakfast. We booked through booking after visiting the wonderful Praia de canoa quebrada, which I, like many others, fell in love with. The rooms were airy and very clean, and the shower was excellent. Arnold, the French manager, was especially generous, friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home and at ease. He also suggested good places with affordable prices.

Getting there by car takes a detour because the entrance is very narrow, though the parking area itself is spacious. It’s the best value in the area. This is one of the few newer hotels in Canoa, with a great setup and breakfast. Staff were attentive from reception through room service. The rooms are spacious, with beautiful rustic furniture, and the rooftop has a lovely view across Canoa Quebrada. The TV was smart and the wifi signal was very good.

Such a cute, simple, cozy place. I just wish the rooms had more curtains, and that the pousada had signs outside, like lettering or arrows, so it’s easier to spot when arriving by car.
