It’s a comfortable but very simple pousada, with limited breakfast variety. The location is good, close to both the beach and the town center.

The chalets are very comfortable, and the pousada has a spacious green area around the pool. The room’s air conditioner was a new, recently installed unit, and breakfast was very good. We did miss having closets for our clothes and personal belongings. The owner was very attentive and cordial.

The chalets were good, and everything in them worked properly. Getting around was manageable too, about a 10-minute walk to the main street and beach, though keep in mind Canoa has steep hills and rough paving. The inn itself was satisfactory, but there were few staff members and reception was inexplicably closed at both check-in and check-out. The pool was small and dirty, breakfast was disappointing, and parking was limited. I'd avoid peak season and weekends if you don't want to be let down, haha.
