The owner and his brother were so kind and helpful, and the price was low. I’d suggest choosing a private room. It’s just three minutes from the beach and main street, and there’s a balcony spot to relax. Breakfast was good too.

We found the price very accessible, and Hostel Muiraquitã exceeded what we expected. The welcoming family made this simple place feel cozy. The rooms don't have air conditioning, but the nights are cold enough that we didn't miss it. The street is narrow, so getting around can be difficult if you're not comfortable maneuvering a car.

The family hosting us gave us a warm welcome, and the hostel is close to everything. It’s simple, with clean rooms and a shared kitchen. The price was excellent. Car access is the one drawback, but I still recommend it and plan to return many times.

Parking was a real struggle. The street is narrow, the ramp is very steep, and there’s a step where it meets the street. A little set of steps beside the ramp leaves even less room to maneuver and park. Inside, the staff were very available, polite, and attentive. The place matched the photos and was clean and organized. The rooms aren't very large, but a couple can manage comfortably; a family of four might find one a bit cramped. They don't have lined ceilings, so you can hear what's happening in neighboring rooms and the shared area. Breakfast was simple but had a good range: two kinds of fruit, cake, bread, cheese, ham, eggs, coffee, milk, juice, yogurt, tapioca, and sausage sauce.
